Mr. Color GGX Thinner (400ml) T-204
This specially developed thinner from Mr Hobby is designed specifically for use with Mr. Color GGX paints. Unlike standard Mr. Color thinners, the GGX thinner range is formulated to match the unique characteristics of GGX paints, allowing them to perform as intended when airbrushed.
The regular GGX thinner is intended for glossy and semi-gloss GGX colours, while the rapid version is designed for matte finishes. Using the correct thinner according to the paint’s gloss level helps achieve the intended surface finish, drying behaviour and overall paint performance.
For airbrush use, the recommended mixing ratio is 1:1 for glossy GGX paints and approximately 1:1.25 for matte GGX paints. This balance allows smooth flow, even coverage and consistent results.

Caution: Do not dilute Mr. Color GGX paints using the standard Mr. Color Thinner series. Due to differences in solubility and formulation, the original performance of GGX paints cannot be achieved. When used with standard Mr. Color paints, some finishes, particularly metallics, may differ due to variations in drying speed.
