Mr Hobby Water-based Weathering Paint Gouache Light Rust

Mr Hobby WT-04 Light Rust is a 20ml water-based weathering paint designed for creating realistic weathering effects on modelling projects. Supplied in a tube, it can be applied directly when creating dirt effects or diluted with water or the dedicated thinner when a more fluid consistency is required.

The Light Rust colour was adjusted by modeller Kazuya Yoshioka as part of this versatile weathering paint range. Its adaptable water-based formulation allows modellers to use the same paint in different ways, making it suitable for direct weathering work as well as techniques such as panel lining and washing.

Light Rust Weathering Colour

WT-04 provides a dedicated Light Rust colour for adding weathered appearance and dirt effects to a model. Used directly from the tube, the paint can be applied where a more concentrated weathering effect is wanted. When a thinner consistency is preferred, it can be diluted with either water or the special thinner developed for the range.
