VMS No-Peel Primer No. 3 in Standard Grey provides an excellent base coat for any model project, combining the strength of solvent-based primers with the convenience and safety of a water-based formula. Its odourless composition and non-aggressive solvent content make it perfect for indoor use without compromising on performance or finish.

Designed for more than just tanks, this primer is equally suitable for aircraft, figures, vehicles, diorama elements and beyond. It adheres reliably to plastic, resin, metal and even 3D printed surfaces, offering superb paint grip and surface durability across the board.

Pre-thinned to a viscosity of 40 cSt, it sprays smoothly through airbrushes without the need for additional thinner. A fine 0.2mm nozzle is ideal for pre-shading with white or black, while 0.3mm or larger can be used for broader priming coverage. Optimum air pressure is 30 PSI, though 20 to 40 PSI is acceptable depending on your setup.
