VMS No-Peel Primer No. 2 Aircraft Grey (100ml)

  • Water-based primer with solvent-grade adhesion and durability
  • Designed for plastic, metal, resin and 3D printed parts
  • Self-levelling and pre-thinned for airbrush use
  • Suitable for 0.2mm to 0.4mm nozzles
  • Low odour and safe for delicate materials, including styrofoam
  • Dries in 20 to 40 minutes or under 3 minutes with force drying
  • Preserves fine detail with ultra-fine binder technology
  • Easy cleanup using tap water

VMS No-Peel Primer No. 2 in Aircraft Grey offers modellers a professional-grade priming solution without the mess or hazards of traditional solvent-based products. It is thinned to a viscosity of 40 cSt, making it ideal for direct use in an airbrush with excellent flow and coverage even through a 0.2mm nozzle.

Though labelled Aircraft Grey, this primer is suitable for more than aircraft builds. Whether you are working on figures, military vehicles, fantasy miniatures or scratch-built dioramas, the formula delivers excellent surface grip across a range of materials, including resin, metal and even delicate 3D printed parts.

The formulation ensures crisp, clean detail thanks to its small-particle binder, and it will not flood or obscure fine textures. It performs best at 30 PSI but remains effective between 20 and 40 PSI. Use finer nozzles for control or larger ones for broader priming coverage. No thinner is required.

Touch-dry in just 20 to 40 minutes, the primer allows for a fast workflow. With force drying, it can be ready for painting in 30 minutes. Tools can be rinsed clean with tap water, and periodic cleaning with VMS Airbrush Cleaners Pro Acrylic is recommended to keep your equipment in top condition.

Note: This acrylic product must be stored at room temperature. Avoid freezing. Shelf life is at least 36 months when stored in a cool, dark environment.
