History:
The Porsche 917 secured its legendary status both in endurance racing and the CanAm series of the early 1970s. The open-top 917/10 variant became a symbol of Porsche’s dominance, particularly under the guidance of Roger Penske’s team. With immense power and advanced aerodynamics, it clinched multiple championships, proving to be one of the most successful and feared race cars of its time. Its unique combination of German engineering and American racing flair made the Porsche 917 a true motorsport icon, celebrated to this day by racing enthusiasts worldwide.
