History: The Panzerkampfwagen VI Ausf.B, more commonly known as the King Tiger or Tiger II, was introduced by Germany in 1944. Equipped with a powerful 88mm KwK 43 L/71 gun and heavy frontal armour, it posed a serious challenge to Allied forces. The Henschel turret, the more widely produced variant, featured sloped armour for improved ballistic protection. Despite its strengths, the King Tiger was hampered by mechanical issues and high fuel consumption. It saw action on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, leaving a lasting impression as one of the most iconic tanks of the Second World War.
