History

The Sturmgeschütz III Ausf. G was the final and most prolific version of Germany’s renowned assault gun series. Introduced in 1942, early production models retained the low-profile, riveted superstructure and 75mm StuK 40 L/48 gun. Designed initially for infantry support, the StuG III quickly evolved into a dedicated tank destroyer due to its effective armour, compact design, and ease of production. The Ausf. G was widely deployed on the Eastern and Western Fronts, where it proved deadly in ambush tactics and defensive warfare. This full interior kit offers a rare opportunity to examine the inner design and crew layout of a critical German vehicle in WWII armoured warfare.
