History

The Tiger I Mid Production was an evolution of Germany’s fearsome heavy tank design, introduced during World War II to address mechanical limitations of earlier models while retaining its formidable firepower and armour. These tanks were deployed on both the Eastern and Western fronts, where they became infamous among Allied forces. Known for its powerful 88mm gun and complex interleaved suspension, the Tiger I was both respected and feared in combat. The mid-production variant included key improvements such as steel-rimmed wheels and updated commander’s cupola, making it a dominant presence on the battlefield during 1943 and 1944.
