This 1/48 scale Tamiya kit recreates the F-16C and F-16N fighters used by the U.S. Air Force Aggressor squadrons and U.S. Navy Adversary units for dissimilar air combat training. These aircraft, operating in Red Flag exercises and the Navy’s famed TOPGUN programme, simulate MiG and Sukhoi fighters, often wearing striking camouflage schemes. The set allows modellers to build several block variants and includes equipment unique to these specialised training aircraft.
