This Tamiya 1/48 scale kit recreates the Fieseler Fi156C Storch, the Luftwaffe’s famous short take-off and landing (STOL) liaison aircraft. Renowned for its extraordinary low-speed handling and ability to operate from rough fields, the Storch served in roles including reconnaissance, liaison, and medical evacuation. Its most famous missions included the daring rescue of Benito Mussolini and regular battlefield reconnaissance flights for Field Marshal Erwin Rommel in North Africa.
