This 1/35 scale model kit recreates the German Sd.kfz. 131 Marder II, a tank destroyer developed to counter heavily armoured Soviet tanks such as the T-34 and KV-2. Mounted with the powerful 7.5cm Pak 40 anti-tank gun in an open-top fighting compartment based on the Panzerkampfwagen II chassis, the Marder II provided German forces with much-needed firepower during the mid-war years.
