This 1/35 scale kit recreates the M109A6 Paladin self-propelled howitzer as deployed during the Iraq War. Packaged by Tamiya as part of the Tamiya-Italeri Series, it includes updated mouldings, new parts, and photo-etched details to improve accuracy and ease of assembly. Also included are Tamiya figures, accessories, decals, and comprehensive instructions.

Developed and fielded from 1992 onwards, the M109A6 Paladin continued a long line of American self-propelled artillery. Armed with a 155mm L/39 howitzer capable of firing up to 30km, the Paladin was used in supporting roles throughout the Iraq War of 2003. It featured improved automation, fire control, and crew protection, making it a formidable component in modern US armoured units.
