This 1/48 scale model recreates the German light tank Panzer 38(t) Ausf. E/F. Originally designed and produced for the Czechoslovak Army as the LT vz. 38, it was adopted by the Wehrmacht after the occupation of Czechoslovakia. The Ausf. E/F variant featured enhanced protection, with doubled front armor thickness of 50mm and 30mm on the hull and turret sides, making it more resilient on the battlefield.

History: The Panzer 38(t) served as one of Germany’s main light tanks during the early years of WWII, participating in the invasions of Poland, France, and the Soviet Union. Its Czech design and reliability made it a valuable asset until it was gradually replaced by more powerful designs. Many chassis were later adapted for self-propelled guns and tank destroyers, extending their operational life well into the war.
