The F4U-1D featured numerous upgrades over its predecessors, including the ability to carry rockets and drop tanks, aerodynamic refinements, and modifications to improve pilot visibility. This kit incorporates all the unique characteristics of the D variant with Tamiya’s renowned precision and detailing.

History:

The Vought F4U-1D Corsair was one of the first variants cleared for aircraft carrier operations.
