Tamiya Work Stand with Magnifying Lens and LED Lights

Bring magnification, lighting and organised storage together with the Tamiya Work Stand. Designed for fine model work, the stand features a large 15 x 10cm acrylic lens with 2X magnification and six white LED lights positioned behind it.

Two adjustable arms allow the lens and lighting to be moved into a useful working position. The 43 x 36 x 7cm base provides a dedicated workspace with integrated holders, a decal tray, a cutting-mat frame and a backboard.

2X magnification and LED lighting

The acrylic magnifying lens enlarges small parts and fine details to 2X their normal size. Six white LEDs provide additional illumination directly around the magnified working area, supporting detailed painting, assembly and finishing tasks.

The adjustable arms allow the lens to be positioned where it is most useful. This combination of magnification and directed light also suits carving, embroidery, beading and other arts and crafts requiring clear vision.

Organised modelling workspace

The base includes a frame designed to fit a Tamiya A4 cutting mat. A backboard helps prevent parts from flying away when they are cut from sprues, while the integrated decal tray can be filled with water during decal application.

Five clip holders are positioned on both the left and right sides. Four bottle holders are designed for Tamiya cement, acrylic paint and enamel paint bottles, and three additional holders keep paintbrushes accessible.

Portable work stand

A built-in carry grip makes the stand easy to move between working locations. Its integrated features create a compact workstation for modelling and other fine tasks while keeping frequently used tools and materials arranged around the base.

Battery or AC power

The six LEDs can be powered by four D batteries for more than 150 hours of white light. The workstation can also use a 6 VDC 800 mA AC/DC adaptor, which is sold separately.

Important: When using an AC/DC adaptor, follow the polarity diagram on the workstation. Incorrect polarity could damage the workstation or adaptor and could cause a fire.
