Vallejo Ancient Ink Squidmar Colour (270) – 18ml
Vallejo Ancient Ink (270) is an 18ml miniature painting ink from the Squidmar Colour range. Available individually under manufacturer reference 74.270, it forms part of the collection’s ink selection alongside colours such as Moss Ink, Leather Ink and Pitch Black Ink.
For painters using the Squidmar range, Ancient Ink provides another named colour within the collection. It can be incorporated into miniature and scale model painting projects where the chosen colour scheme calls for this particular ink.
Ancient Ink – Squidmar Colour 270
Ancient Ink carries the individual Squidmar colour number 270. This reference identifies it within the range and distinguishes it from the standard colours, metallics, fluorescent paints and other inks in the collection.
The Squidmar ink selection includes twelve individually numbered colours, running from Sun Ink (261) through to Pitch Black Ink (272). Ancient Ink sits towards the end of this sequence, immediately after Moss Ink (269) and before Leather Ink (271).
Having individual colour references is particularly useful when maintaining an organised paint collection. Painters can identify the exact Squidmar colour they require without confusing similarly named products or different paint types.
For Miniature Painting and Model Details
Miniature painting involves selecting colours for different parts of a subject, often across relatively small areas. Figures may feature clothing, equipment, armour, accessories and decorative details, each requiring colours suited to the intended appearance.
Ancient Ink provides an additional ink option for these painting projects. It can form part of a wider selection of Squidmar paints used when working on gaming miniatures, display figures and scale models.
The individual 18ml format also makes Ancient Ink a convenient choice for painters who want this particular colour without purchasing a larger paint set.
Part of the Vallejo Squidmar Range
The Vallejo Squidmar paint range includes standard colours, metallics, fluorescent colours and inks. Ancient Ink belongs specifically to the ink collection and is identified by colour number 270.
It is also one of the twelve inks included in the 72-colour Squidmar Mega Set, making it relevant to painters who are collecting individual colours from that assortment.
