Vallejo Squidmar Colour Mossback Green 234 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Mossback Green (74.234) is an 18ml green model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. Named after moss, this colour is particularly relevant to miniature painting projects featuring woodland environments, vegetation, fantasy creatures and natural scenery.
Green is an important colour in miniature painting, appearing across landscapes, clothing, equipment and character details. Mossback Green offers a named green option for projects where a moss-inspired appearance fits the intended colour scheme.
Moss, Vegetation and Woodland Scenery
Moss is a familiar feature of woodland environments, particularly on rocks, tree trunks, fallen branches and older structures. These details can help establish the setting of a miniature base or larger scenery piece.
Mossback Green is a colour to consider when painting moss-covered surfaces on miniature terrain. It may be incorporated into the appearance of rocky ground, woodland paths and natural features where green vegetation is part of the scene.
Fantasy ruins and abandoned buildings often include areas of vegetation growing around stonework and architectural details. Green colours can help represent these features and distinguish them from the surrounding structures.
Woodland bases may also contain plants, roots, stones and other natural elements. Mossback Green provides an option for selected details where its appearance suits the intended environment.
Fantasy Creatures and Miniature Figures
The moss-inspired name also makes Mossback Green relevant to fantasy creatures associated with forests, swamps and other natural environments.
Creatures such as trolls, goblins and woodland monsters may feature green as part of their character design. Mossback Green can be considered for skin, clothing or equipment when the chosen colour scheme calls for green.
Fantasy figures may also carry cloaks, bags and accessories painted in woodland-inspired colours. Using related greens across these components can help establish a consistent appearance.
For miniature armies, Mossback Green may be considered for selected uniform details, decorative elements and equipment where a green colour is appropriate to the subject.
