Pitch Black for Miniature Figures and Details
Pitch Black is identified by colour number 248 and manufacturer reference 74.248. Its name clearly identifies it as a black colour within the Squidmar range.
For miniature figures, black is commonly used on clothing, boots, belts, equipment and other details. Fantasy characters, military figures and science fiction miniatures can all feature black elements as part of their intended colour schemes.
Black is also relevant to miniature weapons and accessories, particularly where dark-coloured handles, fittings or equipment are being represented.
For painters working with several colours on a figure, Pitch Black provides a dedicated black option that can be selected for the appropriate areas of the model.
Black Paint for Scale Models and Scenery
Beyond miniature figures, black is widely used in scale modelling. Vehicle components, machinery, tyres, equipment and interior details are examples of subjects where black paint may be required.
Pitch Black can also be considered for miniature scenery featuring black-coloured structural elements, furnishings, fittings and decorative details.
Its straightforward colour name makes it easy to identify when preparing a selection of paints for projects involving dark surfaces or black components.
