Vallejo Squidmar Colour Rich Brown 240 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Rich Brown (74.240) is an 18ml brown model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. Identified as colour 240, Rich Brown is a colour option for miniature figures, scale models and scenery featuring brown clothing, equipment and natural materials.
Brown plays an important role in miniature painting, particularly on subjects featuring leather-coloured accessories, wooden structures and earthy surroundings. Rich Brown offers a named colour within the Vallejo Squidmar collection for painters working on these details.
Rich Brown for Miniature Figures
Miniature figures often feature several brown elements alongside their main clothing and equipment. Belts, straps, pouches, boots and scabbards are common examples, especially on fantasy adventurers, historical soldiers and other character miniatures.
Rich Brown can be selected for these leather-coloured details when a brown appearance suits the intended painting scheme. Using the same colour across related accessories can help maintain consistency between different parts of a figure.
Brown clothing is another common feature of miniature subjects. Cloaks, tunics, trousers, gloves and other garments may incorporate brown sections, allowing Rich Brown to be used beyond equipment and accessories.
Figures carrying wooden staffs, weapon handles or tools may also feature components where a brown colour is appropriate.
Wooden Scenery and Natural Details
Rich Brown is also relevant to miniature scenery containing wooden objects and natural surfaces.
Buildings, fences, doors and furniture frequently include wooden components. Crates, barrels, carts and other scenery accessories provide further opportunities to incorporate brown into a painting scheme.
For miniature bases, brown is commonly associated with soil, pathways and earthy terrain. Rich Brown can be considered for these elements when its colour fits the intended appearance of the ground.
Scale modelling projects may also include brown equipment, interior fittings and wooden details. The colour can be incorporated into projects where brown forms part of the chosen finish.
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Range
Rich Brown is part of the Vallejo Squidmar Colour range, a collection of individually named and numbered paints for miniature painting.
The colour is identified as number 240 and carries the manufacturer reference 74.240. These identifiers distinguish Rich Brown from other brown colours in the collection, making it straightforward to select the same paint for subsequent projects.
Supplied individually in an 18ml size, Rich Brown can be added to an existing collection of model paints.
