Vallejo Squidmar Dark Future Paint Set

The Vallejo Squidmar Dark Future Set brings together 12 acrylic hobby colours selected by Squidmar Miniatures for darker, more atmospheric miniature painting. The palette is built around colours that can be used for night-time scenes, dramatic shadows and non-metallic metal effects, while also providing brighter tones for contrast and colour variation.

Each paint is supplied in an 18 ml bottle. The selection ranges from Ice Yellow and Sun Yellow through reds, blues, turquoise and green to darker shades and metallic Silver and Dark Gunmetal. This gives the set a broad mix of colours for creating strong light and shade, deepening dark areas and adding different effects across a miniature.

Built for Dark and Dramatic Effects

Squidmar Miniatures created the Dark Future selection around some of the effects they use in their own miniature painting. Dark Sea Blue, Violet Red and other deeper shades can form part of atmospheric shadow work, while the brighter yellows, reds, turquoise and green provide contrasting colour options. Silver and Dark Gunmetal add two metallic colours to the palette.

The paints can also be incorporated into wider painting projects for deepening dark lines, strengthening colour contrasts and developing the techniques demonstrated by Squidmar in their videos. The set forms part of the dedicated Squidmar collection from Vallejo.
