Vallejo Squidmar Special FX Paint Set
The Vallejo Squidmar Special FX Paint Set is a 12-colour collection selected for adding lighting, glow, depth and other distinctive effects to painted miniatures. Its mix of fluorescent colours, Chameleon Orange, Seraph Red and Game Colour inks provides different ways to introduce stronger colour, tint existing areas and build more complex effects.
Each colour is supplied in an 18 ml bottle. Squidmar Miniatures selected the paints for techniques ranging from glowing eyes and magical effects to object-source lighting from weapons and other illuminated details. They can also be used to increase colour saturation, deepen darker areas and add contrast to a miniature.

Fluorescent Colours and Special Effects
The fluorescent paints provide bright colour for creating glow effects and can be used on their own or mixed with other colours. This makes them useful for effects such as glowing details, spell effects and object-source lighting. Chameleon Orange and Seraph Red broaden the selection further, giving the set additional options for more unusual colour treatments.
The six inks can be used to add depth, smooth blends and tint other colours. They cover red, violet, dark turquoise, green, sepia and black, allowing different tones to be introduced without relying on a single dark shade. The selection forms part of the Squidmar collection of Vallejo paints.
Designed to Work with Other Squidmar Sets
The Special FX colours can also be used alongside Squidmar’s Essential, Dark Future and Fantasy paint sets. This lets you incorporate fluorescent colours, inks, and other effect paints into broader palettes when a miniature needs extra glow, stronger colour, deeper shading, or specialised lighting effects.
