Vallejo Squidmar Colour Ume Grey 246 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Ume Grey (74.246) is an 18ml grey model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. Identified as colour 246, Ume Grey provides a named grey colour for miniature figures, scale models and scenery where grey surfaces form part of the intended painting scheme.
Grey is frequently used in miniature painting because it appears across many different subjects. From clothing and equipment to stonework and mechanical components, a dedicated grey paint is useful when working on models with several distinct colours and materials.
Ume Grey for Miniature Figures
Ume Grey belongs to Vallejo’s Squidmar Colour collection and carries the manufacturer reference 74.246. Its colour name distinguishes it from other greys in the range.
On miniature figures, grey can be used to represent clothing, cloaks, uniforms, straps and equipment. These details appear across fantasy, historical and science fiction subjects, making grey a commonly selected colour when planning a miniature’s appearance.
Ume Grey can also be considered for armour and accessories where a painted grey surface is required rather than a metallic appearance.
For figures with several grey elements, the colour can be used wherever Ume Grey fits the chosen scheme, helping maintain a consistent colour across related details.
Grey Paint for Scenery and Scale Models
Miniature scenery often features grey surfaces, particularly on buildings, stone walls, ruins and architectural details. Ume Grey provides another colour option for painters working on these subjects.
Grey is also relevant to scale modelling projects involving vehicles, machinery, equipment and structural components. Individual parts can be painted grey to represent their intended appearance within the overall model.
For miniature bases, grey is frequently associated with stone, paving and rocky terrain. Ume Grey can form part of a colour scheme featuring these types of surfaces.
