Vallejo Squidmar Colour Undead Ochre 239 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Undead Ochre (74.239) is an 18ml ochre model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. Identified as colour 239, Undead Ochre offers an earthy colour for miniature figures, equipment and scenery.
Ochre colours are commonly associated with earth, natural materials and aged surfaces. Undead Ochre is particularly relevant to fantasy miniature painting, where its distinctive name suggests a colour for undead characters, weathered clothing and other details that call for an earthy appearance.
Undead Ochre for Fantasy Miniatures
Undead figures often feature a combination of exposed bones, worn clothing, old equipment and natural-looking materials. Ochre is a colour worth considering when planning these elements, particularly where yellow-brown or earthy tones form part of the intended painting scheme.
Skeletons, zombies and other undead characters frequently include clothing and accessories that can be painted in muted, earth-inspired colours. Undead Ochre provides a named colour option for these details.
Robes, tunics, bandages and other fabric elements may also feature ochre-coloured sections. The colour can be used wherever its appearance suits the character’s clothing or equipment.
Bone-coloured accessories, decorative ornaments and other fantasy details are further subjects where an ochre colour may form part of a chosen painting scheme.
Earthy Colours for Scenery and Terrain
Undead Ochre is also relevant to miniature scenery featuring earth, stone and natural materials.
Dry ground, pathways, exposed soil and rocky terrain often incorporate ochre colours. These surfaces appear in miniature bases, tabletop terrain and scale modelling projects.
Fantasy scenery may include ruins, graveyards and abandoned structures where earthy colours are used across the ground and surrounding details. Undead Ochre can be considered for these elements when its colour matches the intended appearance.
Wooden accessories, worn-looking equipment and other scenery components may also incorporate ochre as part of their colour scheme.
