Vallejo Squidmar Colour Vomitous Green 233 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Vomitous Green (74.233) is an 18ml green model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. With its deliberately unpleasant-sounding name, Vomitous Green is a colour to consider for fantasy miniatures featuring monsters, undead creatures and other subjects where green forms part of the character’s appearance.
Not every green in a miniature painting collection needs to represent grass, leaves or military equipment. Fantasy subjects frequently use green for unusual skin colours, supernatural creatures and imaginary materials. Vomitous Green fits naturally into this type of painting project, particularly when the aim is to give a figure an unsettling or unnatural appearance.
Green Skin for Monsters and Undead Figures
Creature miniatures offer considerable freedom when choosing skin colours. Goblins, trolls, zombies and other fantasy monsters are often depicted with green skin, although the exact appearance depends on the individual character design.
Vomitous Green can be considered for exposed skin on these figures, including faces, arms, hands and other visible areas. Its name makes it particularly relevant to creatures intended to look unpleasant, diseased or otherworldly.
For undead miniatures, green may be incorporated into the appearance of exposed skin or other character details. A consistent green colour across related figures can also help establish a shared visual identity within a group of monsters.
Fantasy Scenery and Unusual Details
The applications of Vomitous Green extend beyond creature skin. Fantasy scenery often includes imaginary substances, strange vegetation and decorative features that can be represented using green colours.
Dungeon settings, abandoned laboratories and supernatural environments may feature green-coloured objects or details. Vomitous Green is an option when selecting a colour for these elements.
Miniature accessories such as bottles, containers, magical objects and creature equipment may also incorporate green as part of their design.
The paint can be considered for conventional green details too, including clothing, decorative markings and scenery components, wherever its appearance suits the intended colour scheme.
