Vallejo Squidmar Colour Witches Purple 218 – 18ml
Vallejo Squidmar Colour Witches Purple (74.218) is an 18ml purple model paint from the Squidmar Colour range. Named with fantasy and witchcraft in mind, it is a colour to consider for miniature figures, magical characters and decorative details where purple forms part of the intended design.
Purple is a familiar choice for fantasy subjects, particularly witches, sorcerers and other characters associated with magic. It can feature prominently on clothing and equipment or appear in smaller decorative areas. Witches Purple provides a named colour within Vallejo’s Squidmar collection for these types of painting projects.
Witches, Sorcerers and Fantasy Characters
Witches and spellcasters often wear distinctive clothing that helps establish their identity. Robes, cloaks, pointed hats and other garments provide opportunities to incorporate purple into a character’s appearance.
Witches Purple can be considered for these clothing details, particularly when creating a miniature with a magical or supernatural theme. The colour may also be repeated on accessories to connect different parts of the figure’s design.
Fantasy characters wearing elaborate costumes can feature purple on tunics, fabric decorations and ornamental equipment. For groups of related figures, using the same named colour on selected details can help establish a consistent visual theme.
Magical Accessories and Equipment
Fantasy miniatures frequently include staffs, spellbooks, amulets and other imaginary magical objects. These accessories often feature decorative areas where colour plays an important role in the overall design.
Witches Purple is a colour to consider for painted gemstones, ornamental fittings and fictional magical symbols. Purple can also appear on shields, armour decorations and other equipment carried by supernatural characters.
For miniatures featuring several magical accessories, repeating purple across selected details can create a visual connection between the character and their equipment.
Fantasy Creatures and Supernatural Scenery
Purple is also relevant to imaginary creatures and fantasy environments. Fictional beings may feature purple skin, scales, markings or decorative features as part of their intended appearance.
Witches Purple can be considered for these details, as well as ornamental features on fantasy scenery. Painted decorations on magical structures, furnishings and imaginary objects provide further opportunities to incorporate the colour.
For a themed miniature display, purple details on scenery can complement similar colours used on the main character.
