Victrix Caesar’s Legions 28mm Roman Wargaming Miniatures
Victrix Caesar’s Legions is a 28mm miniature kit containing 38 Caesarian Roman figures for ancient warfare wargaming. The set represents the Roman legions of the late Republic, the armies associated with commanders such as Julius Caesar, Pompey and Mark Antony.
Roman legions were a dominant military force across the ancient world, and this set captures their appearance through highly detailed miniatures in dynamic fighting poses. With legionaries, centurions, standard bearers, musicians and mounted generals, the kit provides a varied collection of figures representing different roles within a Roman army.
The 28mm scale makes these figures suitable for building a Caesarian Roman force for tabletop wargaming, including infantry formations and command elements.
Caesarian Roman Legionaries and Equipment
The infantry figures represent Roman legionaries equipped with some of the most recognisable weapons and defensive equipment of the period.
The pilum was a heavy throwing spear carried by Roman soldiers, while the large scutum shield provided protection during combat. The gladius was the Roman sword used in close fighting.
These weapons and shields are represented throughout the set, giving the legionaries the characteristic appearance of Roman troops.
The figures are sculpted in dynamic fighting poses, providing variety within infantry formations and allowing the army to be represented in active battlefield scenes.
