Victrix Plastic Model Figures
Warriors of Carthage (28mm) VXA010
This 28mm hard plastic set from Victrix offers a dynamic and historically rich collection of Carthaginian troops, suitable for wargaming the First, Second, and Third Punic Wars. With 62 highly detailed miniatures, this set includes a combination of heavy infantry, veteran soldiers, and agile skirmishers—ideal for representing the composite structure of a Carthaginian army under Hannibal or his successors.
The box features 24 hardened veterans of Hannibal’s campaigns, equipped in a mix of Punic and captured Roman armour—depicting the brutal practicality of ancient warfare. Another 24 miniatures represent Liby-Phoenician heavy infantry fighting in disciplined phalanx formation, their equipment influenced by Greek Hoplite tactics. To complete the force, the set includes 14 Libyan Javelinmen: light infantry from rebellious Libyan tribes, often marked by red tunics and ritual tattoos.
With detailed sculpts and numerous assembly options, this kit is ideal for creating a varied, imposing Carthaginian army to face off against Rome, Iberian tribes, Gauls, Greeks, or Numidians. The set is fully compatible with Little Big Men Studios shield transfers and banners for added authenticity.

History:
The armies of Carthage were a melting pot of cultures and military traditions. Unlike the Roman legions, Carthage relied heavily on mercenaries, client troops, and allied contingents from across its North African and Mediterranean territories. Hannibal’s famous veterans, battle-hardened from campaigns in Italy, often wore a mix of captured Roman gear and traditional Punic armour. The Liby-Phoenician heavy infantry formed a disciplined core, drilled in Greek-style tactics, while Libyan skirmishers added mobility and shock value. Despite internal tensions and tribal uprisings, these diverse forces achieved remarkable battlefield successes, particularly during the Second Punic War. This set allows you to recreate the strategic complexity and visual richness of one of Rome’s greatest foes.
