Thunder Models LRDG F30 Patrol Truck with Offset Rear Bed offers a unique and field-modified configuration of the iconic Canadian Ford F30 used by the British Long Range Desert Group in North Africa. This 1/35 scale kit recreates the distinctive asymmetrical cargo bed layout, introduced by LRDG crews to provide space for larger fuel tanks and easier access to crew and supplies. Designed for extended reconnaissance and raiding missions, these vehicles were stripped of unnecessary components and adapted for endurance, mobility, and survivability in extreme desert conditions.

The Long Range Desert Group (LRDG) made extensive use of the Canadian Ford F30 chassis, modifying it to meet the demands of desert warfare.
