Das Werks Sd.Kfz. 7 half-track represents the versatile and robust 8-ton German towing tractor used for towing heavy artillery and transport trailers during WWII. Historical Background:

The Sd.Kfz. 7 served as one of the Wehrmachts principal medium artillery tractors and prime moverstowing 8 cm FlaK, 10.5 cm leFH 18 field guns, and 21 cm Mrser 18 heavy mortars. With a crew of six and a second bench in the rear, it also hauled infantry or supplies and was often fitted with radio sets for command roles. Built from 1939 to 1944, it remained in service through the end of the war.
