Das Werks Raketenjagdpanzer Jaguar I brings to life the West German Cold War-era tracked tank destroyer armed with anti-tank missile launchers. This 2 in 1 new-tool kit allows modelers to build either the classic ATGM armed Jaguar I or its early Beobachtungspanzer (recon/spotting) variant. Featuring accurate missile launch rails, twin-crew open turret, realistic suspension, and detailed hull interior, this kit merges firepower with reconnaissance flexibility.

Note: This kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints, and tools are not included.

Historical Background:

The Jaguar I (Raketenjagdpanzer 1) entered Bundeswehr service in the early 1960s, mounting French SS.11 anti-tank missile launchers on a tracked hull. Designed for rapid anti-armor strikes, it offered long-range firepower but limited secondary armament. The Beobachtungspanzer conversion swapped missiles for observation equipment and additional radios, supporting artillery spotting missions. This kit faithfully represents both roles in one versatile package.
