Wargames Atlantic Plastic Miniatures

28mm Prussian Reserve

Wargames Atlantics 28mm Prussian Reserve set brings the determined foot soldiers of the Napoleonic Wars to your tabletop. Representing the reserve infantry raised by the Kingdom of Prussia during the later stages of the conflict, these figures reflect the grit, simplicity, and national spirit of troops drawn from citizen ranks to stand against Napoleons Grande Arme. This highly detailed plastic kit is ideal for recreating historical battles, building army units for wargaming, or modelling early 19th-century European military forces.

The multipart sprues include a wide range of parts to build rank-and-file infantry, NCOs, and command elements. With components for muskets, backpacks, bedrolls, and shakos, the figures can be posed in marching, firing, or advancing stances. Their historically accurate uniforms and gear reflect the practical and often improvised appearance of the Prussian Reserve during the campaigns of 18131815, particularly in the War of the Sixth Coalition.

  • Scale: 28mm (1/56)
  • Includes 40 multipart plastic Prussian Reserve infantry
  • Options for muskets, command figures, and varied headgear
  • Perfect for Napoleonic wargaming and historical modelling

Note: This model kit requires assembly and painting. Glue, paints and tools are not included and must be purchased separately.

History:

Following Prussias crushing defeat by Napoleon in 1806, the Prussian military was forced to reform under strict limitations. By 1813, with the tide turning, Prussia raised its reserve unitscitizen-soldiers called up to bolster the professional army. These troops often lacked formal training and standardised uniforms, but their patriotism and determination made them vital during the Wars of Liberation. Fighting in major engagements such as Leipzig and Waterloo, the Prussian Reserve played a key role in the downfall of Napoleon. Wargames Atlantics Prussian Reserve set captures the raw determination and historical detail of these late Napoleonic warriors, giving hobbyists the chance to bring their legacy to the tabletop.
