History:
During the height of the Roman Empire, legionaries formed the core of Rome’s military dominance. These professional soldiers were trained in both individual combat and group tactics, executing precise manoeuvres and relentless assaults. Armed with pila for ranged disruption and gladius for close quarters, Roman infantry overwhelmed their foes with coordination and discipline. The attacking stance of these figures captures the decisive moment as legionaries closed the gap, thrusting forward with shield and sword. Reinforced helmets and personal gear variations allow representation of troops from the Dacian front or Rome’s elite Praetorian Guard, bringing flexibility and historical depth to your tabletop campaigns.
