Humbrol Enamel Paint in the 50ml tin is a solvent-based, fast-drying paint developed for use on plastic model kits but which can also be used on other substrates. It is ideal for a wide range of applications, from model making to general DIY projects, offering a professional-quality finish in various colours and finishes.

• Finish Options: Available in matt, satin, gloss, metallic, Metalcote, and clear finishes (finish varies by colour).
• Surface Compatibility: Suitable for use on various substrates including most plastics, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard, sealed plaster, and sealed hardboard.
• Application Methods: Can be applied with a brush straight from the tin or airbrushed with a suitable thinner such as Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat. The usual thinning ratio is 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner.
• Drying Time: Touch dry in 1–2 hours for gloss finishes, 20–40 minutes for matt and satin finishes, and up to 24 hours for hard dry. Drying times will vary according to ambient temperature and humidity.
• Coverage: A 50ml tin covers approximately 1.0m² depending on the thickness of the application.
• Cleaning: Brushes can be cleaned using Humbrol Enamel Thinners. For airbrush use, flush through using Humbrol Enamel Thinners. Product is permanent once dry.
