The Academy 1/72 Bf 109G-14 kit represents one of the late-war variants of Germany’s most produced fighter aircraft. Featuring finely recessed panel lines, a detailed cockpit, and authentic Luftwaffe markings, this model captures the rugged yet streamlined design of the Bf 109G series.

  • 1/72 scale plastic model kit of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-14
  • Detailed cockpit with seat and instrument panel
  • Authentic Luftwaffe WWII decals included
  • Optional underwing stores and drop tanks
  • Finely engraved surface details and accurate proportions

This model is an excellent choice for WWII aviation enthusiasts, representing a key variant of the Luftwaffe’s frontline fighter. Paint and cement are required and sold separately.

History:

The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was Germany’s primary fighter throughout World War II, serving on all fronts from 1939 to 1945. The G-14 variant, introduced in mid-1944, standardised many of the upgrades found on earlier Bf 109G subtypes, including a more powerful Daimler-Benz DB 605 engine, MW 50 water-methanol injection for increased performance, and improved canopy and tail designs. Despite being introduced late in the war, the Bf 109G-14 was produced in large numbers and saw action in defence of the Reich against Allied bombing raids. Although outclassed by newer Allied fighters, the Bf 109G-14 remained a formidable opponent in skilled hands and continued the legacy of one of the most iconic fighters of the Second World War.
