History: The Sturmpanzer IV, known as Brummbär, was developed on the Panzer IV chassis and armed with a 150mm StuH 43 howitzer. It played a crucial role in close-support roles, particularly during the Battle of Kursk and later Eastern Front operations. Mid-production versions introduced design improvements such as modified armour protection and structural reinforcements, enhancing battlefield survivability.
