History

The General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon, later produced by Lockheed Martin, entered service in the late 1970s as a lightweight, multirole fighter. The Arkansas Air National Guard’s 188th Fighter Wing, known as the ‘Flying Razorbacks’, operated the F-16C for both homeland defence and overseas deployments.
