History:
Introduced in 1942, the Tiger I quickly established itself as a dominant force on the battlefield. The late-production version incorporated design refinements aimed at improving durability and performance, including simplified parts and new wheels. Serving on both the Eastern and Western Fronts, the Tiger I played a central role in German armoured warfare until the end of the war. Despite its heavy armour and powerful 88 mm gun, production numbers were limited, making it both legendary and rare. Today, it remains one of the most recognisable tanks in military history and a popular subject for scale modelling.
