This 1/350 scale set from AFV Club recreates the Japanese Navy’s I-27 submarine paired with a Type A midget submarine—commonly referred to as an A-Target. These paired vessels formed part of the Japanese special attack units during World War II, most notably in the 1941 Pearl Harbor assault. The model includes detailed parts for both the large mother submarine and its attached midget sub, with accurate conning towers, launch mountings, and wartime fittings.
