History
Robin Hood is one of the best-known figures in English folklore. Traditionally associated with Sherwood Forest near Nottingham, the legendary outlaw and his companions have appeared in stories for centuries. Tales of Robin Hood, his merry men and the Sheriff of Nottingham have become an enduring part of British cultural heritage, making these figures an excellent choice for recreating scenes inspired by mediaeval England.
