Create a bright silver finish in three clear stages with the Ammo Real Heavy Metal Bright Silver Set. Developed as a coordinated metallic acrylic system, the set combines Base, Metallic Wash and Highlight colours for miniatures, wargaming figures and scale models.

Each colour is supplied in a 20 ml bottle and formulated for its specific place in the sequence. Apply the Base, add depth with the Wash and complete the effect with the Highlight. No complex blending or mixing is required, making the system accessible to beginners and efficient for experienced painters.

Coordinated Three-Step System

1. Bright Silver Base: A high-coverage, fast-drying metallic formula designed to cover in a single coat and provide authentic shine from the first layer.
2. Bright Silver Metallic Wash: A true metallic ink that flows into recesses, enhancing panel lines, armour joints and recessed details while preserving reflectivity.
3. Bright Silver Highlight: A calibrated highlight with ultra-fine metallic pigment, designed to brighten the base tone while supporting smooth transitions and natural reflections.

The coordinated colours help produce bright highlights, reflective depth and a stable metallic finish without muddy mixtures or harsh transitions.

Brush and Airbrush Application

Real Heavy Metal paints offer exceptional coverage, self-levelling performance and an ultra-fine metallic pigment. They can be applied by brush or airbrush and produce a durable finish that resists enamels, oils and weathering effects without lifting.

Once dry, the acrylic paint does not reactivate with water. The colours can also be blended with other IONIC acrylics to create cool, warm, aged, oxidised or customised metallic effects.
