Aoshima I-401 Ars Nova Mode 1/700 Model Kit
Build the Attack Submarine I-401 in its distinctive Ars Nova Mode with this 1/700 scale model kit from Aoshima. Based on the submarine subject from Arpeggio of Blue Steel – Ars Nova, this kit brings a science-fiction vessel to the workbench in a compact and popular ship-modelling scale.
The I-401 makes a striking choice for enthusiasts of science-fiction subjects, submarines and Japanese-themed model collections. Its specialised Ars Nova Mode identity gives the project a clear focus, while the 1/700 scale makes it well suited to display alongside other vessels built to the same scale.
Kit Overview
This Aoshima release is a plastic construction kit of the I-401 attack submarine. It offers modellers an engaging way to represent the vessel as it appears in Ars Nova Mode and create a finished display piece centred on the recognisable submarine subject.
The kit is a strong addition to a themed Arpeggio of Blue Steel – Ars Nova collection. It also offers an appealing change of pace for ship modellers who want to place a science-fiction design beside more conventional maritime subjects. Whether selected as a standalone project or as part of a broader 1/700 fleet, the I-401 provides a focused build with an unmistakable identity.
