Bandai Gundam Gunpla

Turn A Gundam (1/100)

This Master Grade 1/100 Turn A Gundam kit brings one of the most distinctive mobile suits in the Gundam Gunpla range into a highly detailed and expressive build. Designed by Syd Mead for the Turn A Gundam series, the model stands out with its unconventional proportions and unique styling. The kit is moulded in colour and designed for snap-fit assembly, allowing for a detailed build without the need for glue.

The internal structure supports a wide range of articulation, enabling the model to replicate many of the movements seen in the series. Various opening panels reveal additional detail, including chest compartments and rear hatches used for specific functions. The cockpit can transform into a Core Fighter, adding another layer of mechanical interest. Additional features such as movable thrusters and unique accessories contribute to a varied and engaging display experience.

History:

The WD-M01 Turn A Gundam appears in the Turn A Gundam series as a highly advanced mobile suit with capabilities far beyond typical designs. Piloted by Loran Cehack, it features unique systems such as the Moonlight Butterfly, which can dismantle technology on a massive scale. Its design, created by Syd Mead, marked a significant departure from traditional Gundam aesthetics, blending futuristic and industrial elements. The Turn A Gundam plays a central role in the series, symbolising both technological power and the potential consequences of its misuse, making it one of the most distinctive entries in the Gundam franchise.
