Bare Metal Matt Aluminium Foil is a self-adhesive finishing material for adding subtle metallic effects to scale models. Its matt aluminium appearance provides a soft-metal finish suited to areas where a restrained metallic surface is required instead of a highly reflective result.

The sheet measures 300 x 160 mm and is made from ultra-thin Bare Metal Foil. Its pressure-sensitive backing allows the material to adhere to plastic, resin and metal modelling surfaces. The thin construction helps the foil conform to fine surface details while retaining the appearance of the underlying shapes.

Application

The foil can be cut with a sharp blade to create sections for individual panels, trim and metallic highlights. Its self-adhesive backing supports direct placement on compatible modelling surfaces, while the ultra-thin material allows fine moulded detail to remain visible beneath the applied foil.

Accurate cutting makes it possible to define the required shape before placing the material on the model. The foil can then be positioned over the selected plastic, resin or metal area. This provides a matt aluminium effect without needing to reproduce the metallic finish with paint.
