History:

The Panzer IV served as the backbone of the German armoured forces throughout World War II. The Ausf. F2 introduced a longer-barrelled 7.5cm KwK 40 gun, significantly improving its ability to engage enemy armour. The Ausf. G followed with additional refinements, including better frontal armour and mechanical upgrades. These mid-war variants saw extensive use on the Eastern Front and in North Africa, providing a critical balance of firepower, mobility, and protection.
