The BSK Model German MG34 For Infantry set is a highly detailed aftermarket upgrade designed for 1/35 scale military modelling projects. Manufactured using high-resolution 3D-printing technology, the set contains three accurately reproduced MG34 machine guns intended for use with German infantry figures, weapon teams and battlefield dioramas from the Second World War.

The MG34 was one of the most important machine guns fielded by Germany during the war. Introduced in the 1930s, it was the world’s first true general-purpose machine gun, capable of serving in both light and sustained-fire roles. Its versatility allowed it to be deployed by infantry squads, mounted on tripods, fitted to vehicles and used in defensive positions. The weapon’s distinctive perforated barrel jacket and precise engineering made it one of the most recognisable firearms of the conflict.

Many plastic figure sets and vehicle kits include simplified machine guns due to moulding limitations. This BSK Model set is designed to provide a much finer level of detail, featuring realistic proportions, sharply defined cooling jacket perforations and crisp weapon features that are difficult to reproduce with conventional injection-moulded parts. The result is a more convincing scale appearance and improved realism when compared with many kit-supplied components.

The three included MG34s can be used across multiple projects or combined within a single scene. They are ideal for infantry squads, machine-gun teams, defensive positions, command groups and battlefield dioramas. Their fine detail responds particularly well to careful painting and weathering techniques, helping recreate the appearance of operational weapons in service.

As with all 3D-printed resin accessories, careful preparation and removal from any support structures is recommended before installation. Once assembled and painted, these replacement MG34s provide a noticeable enhancement to figures and military subjects.
