The BSK Model German WWII MG42 set is a highly detailed aftermarket accessory designed for 1/35 scale military modelling projects. Produced using high-resolution 3D-printing technology, the set provides four accurately reproduced MG42 machine guns, allowing modellers to replace simplified kit parts or add additional weapons to vehicles, figures and diorama scenes.

The MG42 was one of the most recognisable and effective machine guns of the Second World War. Introduced by Germany in 1942, it became famous for its exceptionally high rate of fire and distinctive sound. The weapon served in infantry squads, defensive positions, armoured vehicles and anti-aircraft mounts, making it a common feature across a wide range of German military subjects.

Many injection-moulded model kits represent machine guns with simplified shapes or moulding compromises. This BSK Model upgrade set provides a significantly higher level of detail, featuring realistic cooling jacket perforations, weapon proportions and surface definition that are difficult to reproduce with standard plastic moulding techniques. The result is a more convincing scale appearance once assembled and painted.
