History:

The 15cm schwere Feldhaubitze 18 (sFH 18) was the standard heavy howitzer of German divisional artillery during World War II. Introduced in the early 1930s and used throughout the war, it formed the backbone of German indirect fire support, combining mobility with powerful 149mm shells capable of delivering high-explosive devastation at long ranges.

Mounted on a split trail carriage and equipped with rubber-rimmed steel wheels, the sFH 18 could be towed by horse teams or trucks.
