This 1/43 scale model by Corgi represents a rare addition to the British Road Services fleet — the Volkswagen Type 2 Transporter van, finished in authentic BRS Truck Rental livery. Produced in early 1975, this T2 van is a faithful replica of one of just six examples acquired by BRS, at a time when the company primarily operated British-made diesel vans like the Ford Transit. Volkswagen’s rear-mounted petrol engine and more car-like driving experience offered an alternative to conventional commercial vehicles of the time.
