History
World War I airfields were bustling with activity as ground crews prepared aircraft for missions. Ordnance teams played a crucial role, transporting bombs, ammunition, and other munitions from storage to the aircraft using carts designed for safe handling. This work required teamwork, coordination, and efficiency to ensure aircraft could be armed and launched on time. In scale modelling, such scenes capture the often-overlooked logistical side of air warfare, providing context and realism to aviation dioramas and paying tribute to the essential support personnel behind every mission.
