Known as “The Trusty”, the Triumph Model H was widely used by the British armed forces for dispatch riding, reconnaissance, and liaison duties. • Intricately moulded parts for precise assembly
  • Ideal for dioramas, historical displays, or standalone presentation
  • Clear instructions for an enjoyable building experience

This model is perfect for enthusiasts looking to add authentic detail to WWI scenes or collections. Copper State Models ensures historical accuracy in both dimensions and details, making the finished build a fine representation of the real motorcycle used by British forces over a century ago.

History

Introduced in 1915, the Triumph Model H became one of the most famous motorcycles of the First World War. Designed without pedals, it was one of the first “true” motorcycles of its time and was powered by a 550cc single-cylinder engine. Over 30,000 units were produced, with many serving in the British Army for communication and courier roles on the Western Front and other theatres of war. Its reliability, ease of maintenance, and robust performance in demanding conditions earned it the nickname “The Trusty”. After the war, many surplus machines found civilian use, cementing its place as a landmark in motorcycling history.
